Responsibilities: - Manage the implementation of the Agency’s Radiation Safety Programme - Provide technical support to the Occupational Health & Safety Director, enabling the unit to achieve its strategic objectives. - Implement OHS activities per established policies and practices to achieve the Human Resource Management and Development plan and Jamaica Customs’ strategic objectives.\ - Ensure that employees, clients, and stakeholders are well-informed and committed to improved OHS performance in the workplace. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Science or Nuclear/Radiological Engineering with at least three (3) years of working experience in radiation safety. - Radiation Safety Officer Certification - Project Management Certification - Supervisory Management/Experience - Appropriate professional certification an asset: Certified Hazardous Materials ManagerIndustrial HygieneCertified Safety ProfessionalNEBOSH CertificationCOSS certification
