Our client is looking for General Accountant Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger maintenance. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform account reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. Support tax filings and statutory reporting requirements. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA Level 3 or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is an asset. Familiarity with IFRS or local accounting standards.
